The morning sun shone brighter than ever over Aitipamula village on May 20th, 2025 — a day that marked a turning point in the clean energy journey of Svabag Labs- a cleantech startup incubated with AIC-SKU, Anantapur. Under the shade of neem trees and the eager eyes of villagers, a quiet revolution was inaugurated — one powered not just by solar panels, but by hope, partnership, and purpose.

In the gracious presence of Hon’ble Minister of Telangana, Shri Komatireddy Venkata Reddy gaaru, representing the Komatireddy Prateek Foundation, along with Nalgonda District Collector Shri Ila Tripati ji, Shri Nandyala Narasimha Reddy gaaru (Ex-MLA, Nalgonda and advisor to Kattangur FPO), community leaders, and a vibrant gathering of Self-Help Group (SHG) women — Svabag Labs proudly inaugurated the SvachSakthi Off-grid Clean Energy Project.

Thanks to the generous grant support from the Komatireddy Prateek Foundation, Svabag Labs deployed 50 off-grid solar systems across SHG households in Aitipamula. These systems are connected to EV-grade LFP battery units, enabling energy to be stored, shared, and monetized. For all these self-help group women a new monthly income of upto Rs.2000 is in sight; so it's a path to passive income, energy independence, and dignity.

As the dignitaries addressed the crowd, applause echoed not just for the project, but for what it represents — a decentralized, woman-led model for clean energy infrastructure that can be replicated across rural India. Like how the White revolution in the village of Anand paved way for the highly successful Milk cooperatives, Aitipamula is in the process of leading way to a Clean energy cooperative ecosystem.

This day will be remembered not just as a ceremonial event, but as the moment when the people of Aitipamula lit their homes and their futures — with solar power and collective strength.
